andrea -- senior portrait.

I met Andrea our freshman year of college. She lived in a few dorms away from mine, so we frequented each other's dorms often. We talked about being roomies our junior year, and once that time came, it actually happened! I'm so blessed to call Andrea my dear friend and I've learned so much in my years of friendship with her. She's wrapped up her time at UCI, but I know that she has so much in store for her in the upcoming years! :)

Instead of having traditional senior portraits, Andrea wanted to take a trip down memory lane of all the spots that were near and dear to her during her undergrad career.

iphonetoes.

If you consider carrying around a fancy, expensive camera with equally (or even more) expensive lenses, with you at all times makes you a photographer, then I sadly would not qualify. The fact of the matter is that I'm too lazy to carry around gear, and want to experience "the moment" with my family and friends as much as I can.

More often than not, I have my iPhone on me, so I have a camera with me wherever I go! Whenever I'm out  and see a good shot, I try to capture it on my phone. I already really like the 35mm focal length, which is what my phone has, so it's great to always look to sharpen my eye with a lighter camera! :)

I think it'd be cool to post every now and then some photos I take with my iPhone. I'll call it "iPhonetos". It doesn't really make any sense, but it does in my head, so I'm going to go with it. ;)

Here are some from my trip to Napa and San Jose, since I recently posted photos from my DSLR.

napa valley.

For the longest time, my roommate from college and I talked about planning a trip up to Napa Valley. After months of putting it off, we finally went! We invited a few friends along, and it was great being able to act classy with friends that I haven't hung out together with in awhile. It was so nice to get away for the weekend and be in a different environment. I felt like NorCal was so much more peaceful and serene than SoCal is.

I should mention that my friends are gorgeous. I'm so blessed to be surrounded by such beauty! :)
